About Me

My journey in the door repair business began back in 1993, working for a local door installation company. I quickly realized how much I loved the trade, and thanks to the encouragement of my supervisor, I decided to take the leap and start my own business in 1996.

Starting Alan’s Door Repair was a dream come true. I built it from the ground up, one client at a time, focusing on delivering custom solutions that made each project unique. My goal has always been to provide the kind of small-town service where each customer feels like they’re my only customer. Whether it's installing a brand-new entryway or fixing a sliding door, I take pride in every job I do.

For over 25 years, it’s been a joy to serve the DFW metroplex, helping homeowners with everything from custom installations to repairs on entry, interior, exterior, sliding, and French doors. Outside of work, I’m a husband to my amazing wife and a proud father of three daughters, all of whom are thriving in the medical field.
